We'd like to thank all of our listeners for tuning in, we hope that you enjoyed our programmes! 24 Hour Project. It has been coming, but the finishing post for the first stage of the 24 hour project is in sight. For many years we have been playing BBC Radio 2 when no-one is around to do a show, however, come August, when the presenters go home we'll be playing Epsom Hospital Radio. There will be your favourite hits 24 hours a day, with the latest news headlines from Sky News Radio and information about Epsom General Hospital and services provided about the organisations and charities within the hospital. The radio automation software called Myriad will also be introduced into our studio, with the purchase of some touch screen monitors and some extra faders for our desk and will replace Chris Springs Cart Player which has served the station well for many years. As an essential aid to presenters, this will make it easier for them to find and play requested songs, jingles and other interesting content. This will mark the completion of the first stage of the 24 hour project, the second stage will then begin, raising money to build a second studio to help presenters prerecord full shows to go out when no-one is around. Our New Notice Board. If you are waiting around Epsom General Hospital and want something to do to pass the time, why not come to check out our new notice board. Located in the corridor to the lifts for the Wells Wing and the hospital's coffee shop and restaurant, it is full of information about us, the service we provide, information about the presenters, when they are on and what they get up to on their shows. There is also a request box situated next to the notice board, if you know someone who is staying in Epsom General Hospital, why not dediate a song to them?
